Kelly is a pastor/teacher with a passion for studying God’s Word and a desire to share biblical truth with real-world application. Kelly is a man whose heartbeat is on teaching the Bible so that the sovereignty and glory of God is clearly proclaimed. He loves the church and wants to see people become all they can be in Jesus Christ. He has a heart for the hurting, especially those who have been hurt by 'toxic' churches. He also has a heart for those 'outside' the church, for those who have yet to hear and respond to the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kelly has extensive pastoral experience, having served 10 years at Central Kings Baptist Church, PEI and 12 years Faith Baptist Church, NS, before becoming Pastor of Living Hope Baptist in 2007. In his role as Pastor of Living Hope Baptist, Kelly provides visionary leadership for its people.

Pastor Holt was born and raised in Truro, NS. After graduating from the Cobequid Educational Center he attended Dalhousie University (B.A.), University of King’s College (B. Journalism), and Acadia Divinity College (M. Div.)

Kelly is married to Irene and they have a son Billy. He enjoys Tim Horton’s, reading, history, politics, sports, movie classics and travelling. He has hosted many tours with Rostad Tours. He especially likes taking groups to the Holy Land. In May 2010, Kelly took a group on an Eastern European Cultures Tour, which included attending the famous Oberammergau Passion Play.
